"I had a dream"... does it ring a bell ?
When Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. spoke those words, he was calling for a future built on equity and dignity. Today, that same spirit drives a new vision for Africa’s waters : the Blue Fund.

My dream is of an African horizon where the silhouette of a traditional pirogue and a massive offshore platform are no longer symbols of imminent danger, but of a durable mechanism for safety and peaceful coexistence.

The Blue Fund is designed to transform this vision into a reality through four strategic pillars :

  • Safeguarding Human Life : We aim to drastically reduce accidents by equipping fishers with localization and tracking devices—such as satellite beacons and smart ID plates—making the "invisible" visible to industrial vessels.
  • Conflict Prevention : By establishing safety corridors and early-warning protocols, we ensure that artisanal fishers and offshore operators can share the maritime space without incident.
  • Socio-Economic Fairness : The fund establishes a compensation mechanism for equipment damage and loss of access, while financing alternative livelihood programmes to modernize local fishing communities.
  • Sustainable Governance : Funded by a proportional contribution from offshore producers, the Blue Fund integrates artisanal fisheries into a digital maritime ecosystem for long-term transparency.
